Wisk Secures $450 Million for Generation 6 Air Taxi

Wisk, a leading Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) company and developer of the first all-electric self-flying air taxi in the US, has secured $450 million in funding. With this investment, Wisk will continue to develop its Generation 6 aircraft, which boasts significant improvements in safety, passenger capacity, and autonomy.

The Generation 6 aircraft features an enlarged passenger cabin, providing a more comfortable and spacious experience for passengers. Its improved configuration enhances flight performance and efficiency.

Wisk has partnered with Boeing to leverage their extensive eVTOL and autonomy engineering expertise. This collaboration will accelerate the development of Wisk's platform, ensuring the highest levels of safety and reliability.

The Generation 6 aircraft will initially have a range of approximately 25 miles (40 kilometers) plus reserves. It will redefine air transportation by enabling rapid and efficient urban mobility.
